Combining with Your Trip

Option 1: Post-Luxor (Recommended)

Fly Luxor → Hurghada (45 min) for 2-3 nights before returning to Cairo.

Option 2: End of Trip

Cairo → Luxor → Aswan → Hurghada → Cairo/Home

Option 3: Dedicated Beach Trip

Fly directly to Sharm or Hurghada for a week of diving/beach.

Tips

  1. Choose your reef carefully — Some hotel reefs are degraded; research in advance
  2. Respect the coral — Don't touch, stand on, or take anything
  3. Book diving early — Popular boats fill up
  4. Bring reef-safe sunscreen — Protect what you came to see
  5. Know your comfort level — Beach resort bubbles are fine; you don't need to "explore"
